SO IN CASE YOU WERE NOT AWARE, [livejournal.com profile] anthean IS MADE OF ALL KINDS OF AWESOME.

Why? She made me an awesome pair of wrist warmers when I offhandedly mentioned in an entry that I wanted a pair for Christmas and didn't think I would get them.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!! I'm wearing them now and couldn't be happier. Thank you. The color is a very pretty shade of blue too. They're lovely thank you very much! :)

(Side note, was too lazy to go outside today. I'm horrible I know. I'll do my banking tomorrow I swear. I'll pay my deposit on Monday. I'll get my passport tomfoolery done sometime.)
Earlier this week, I made plans with my friend Laura that we were going to have hibachi today at Nakashima of Japan. AND IT WAS ZOMG AMAZING.

So full now, but it was so worth it. Laura works part time at the restaurant, so we got her discount on top of everything! It was an amazing experience and OM NOM NOM!!!!

For those unfamiliar with hibachi (om nom nom!) you should definitely check it out sometime. Totally worth the experience.

Our chef Allen was awesome. Matt gave him a little sass, so Allen flicked a shrimp tail in his water glass! LULZ!!!
And when I say "Interesting" I mean boring.

Wednesday I spend ALL DAY with Kayla. We did a lot of stuff together and it was superfuntimes. Highlights include making chocolate truffles in her garage (because they were melting in the house), hot tubbing, prepping for Thanksgiving dinner, aimless driving, lots of eating, some drinking, playing with the puppies and cats.....YEP SO FUN!!!

Thanksgiving, I worked. A LOT. Well, I woke up, helped with the thanksgiving stuff, watched half of the Packers/Lions game, ate dinner then went to work from 2-10 and wanted to die. Well not die, but anything to go home. The FAQs of the night were "OMG. You're still open???" and "Do you have [insert Thanksgiving food item here]?" and "Do you have Zhu Zhu pets???"

Zhu Zhu pets. QUICK!! Do ANY of you know what that is before googling the answer? Because no one at the store knew what those were. We don't have them since we looked in the toy section and in the holiday gift section in the store and no Zhu Zhu pets.

I DID NOTHING BLACK FRIDAY. I did however wake up at 3:30 AM, but that was because there was blood all over my face. Tis the season of bloody noses, fa la la la la, la la la la!!! Then I went back to sleep....until noon. Yaaaaaaay.

Today I woke up early to go to Appleton/Oshkosh to do some cheap shopping with Kayla and her family.
1. JanSport factory store. It is an amazing place. You get to buy all of the reject stuff for cheap as free. The shirts/sweatpants/hoodies have printing mistakes, so they can't sell them. I got three hoodies (Saint Louis University, UL Lafayette, and for [livejournal.com profile] anthean, UC Davis.) I found the Davis hoodie when I was saying that I don't know half of the schools in the store and definitely no one who goes there. THEN BAM! UC Davis hoodie, so I kinda had to buy it since it is cool looking, warm, and cheap. ($10!!)

2. Oshkosh outlet mall!! Went to Bath and Body Works outlet and got $80 worth of stuff for $30 because I am made of win. Also Ylang-Ylang is a sexy sexy smell. Some of the stuff I bought is for my mom for birthday or Christmas. Haven't decided yet. Also went to cooking supply store and got my brother two hot sauces for Christmas. I got the hottest one I could find then another one that I just liked the packaging of.

Also today, I (just) made this icon of Cody Deveraux from the Tonight Show. These sketches always make me laugh. I want to meet the actor who plays Cody so I can thank him. Seriously.

LASTLY: CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!! COMMENT AT THIS POST TO GET YOUR VERY OWN CARD FROM ME. I'M ALSO SENDING A SURPRISE WITH THE CARD, SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY FOOD ALLERGIES SINCE I DON'T WANT TO SEND YOU SOMETHING YOU MIGHT BE ALLERGIC TO. IMPORTANT TEXT IS IMPORTANT!!!!

In other news, I stayed at the party for three hours. It was mostly attended by students, then people who worked there. I did meet a new friend named Max who is five years old. At first, he called me 'girl' as in "hey girl come over here!" but then because I am SO AMAZINGLY AWESOME, I was promoted to a 'green goblin.' He designed costumes for us on a whiteboard and showed me his office and two of his secret labs. Pretty cool kid! His mom was worried that I was annoyed, but I didn't mind. There weren't any other kids his age to play with.

I then went over to take care of Piranha and Penny Lane, two dogs I'm taking care of this weekend. Well, I took them outside to go potty, then immediately after bringing them inside, Penny Lane (the puppy) followed me into the spare bedroom and peed all over my bed. So that was fun! Not.
Seriously, I have nothing to do anymore.

I miss Kayla so much. She left a little less than a month ago, and I've only gone out with someone once since then. ONCE. I've been spending all of my time in one of the three following ways.
1. School
2. Work
3. Doing random internetting and watching tv

I'm so sad and lonely. I miss hanging out with her. The only thing that really kept me going was the thought that I would visit her in September. Well, it's now September. I really hate saying this, but the chances of me going to Chicago in the near future are slim. I was going to tag along with Kayla's mom, but the trip down there has been pushed back until October (if at all).

I'm looking at greyhound and amtrak costs to go down there. For the same dates, Amtrak costs $90 and Greyhound $78.50. You might be saying, "Hey Natalie, you have a car. Why not drive down there yourself?"

OH HELL NO!!!!!! I am not driving down there myself for many reasons. 1. I'll get incredibly lost. 2. I'll get really freaked driving there myself. 3. ZOMG TRAFFIC and 4. I would probably get in an accident and die.

I'm not a bad driver, but I don't handle traffic very well and I would definitely need a copilot to help me drive down there.

Anyway, Kayla is missing me as much as I'm missing her. She asked me to "be totally awesome and send [Kayla] another mix please please please!!!! [I] have fun addicting music!" So I did it. 72 songs made of awesome. I'm listening it right now and really like it. I deleted a few songs since they didn't fit very well. I'll go through it again (and probably remove a few more songs), burn it on some disks, and mail it down to Chicago where it can be awesome and loved by Kayla and Thom.

I MISS HER SO MUCH!!!!! I'M SO SAD AND LONELY!!!!!!!

eta: just got my order from Lush! Yay! Although most of my things were either melty or really warm. Henna, soaps, and buffy were melty, lotions and moisturizer were unpleasantly warm. Stuck those in the freezer to cool off. Flying Fox and shampoo bars are fine though. I also discovered that I like the Lush's vanilla smell. I either love or hate vanilla smelled things, and I love their vanilla. Glad I decided to do the summer lotion sale thing! (now my bank acct will be sad as I buy more vanilla things)
Recap!
1. He's a jerk face who's ambition is the money and glory not for the love of the game
2. While watching a bit of last night's game, he didn't do anything amazing and doesn't appear to be "THE SAVIOUR OF THE VIKINGS!!!!" or any of that nonsense. Based on last night's game, he's a glorfied ball holder. My dad and I were joking about it last night. "OH HAI ADRIAN!! I KEPT THE BALL WARM FOR YOU!!! HAVE A GOOD VA-CA-TION DOWN FIELD ALRIGHT?? BA-BYE!! :D:D:D:D:D"

Then he had to do this:

That is SO NOT RAVEN!! You don't do that. NO!!! NO!!!! That guy's career might be over with a move like that. Seriously, who does that? That kind of block? Seriously?

Things I can't wait for:
1. Every defensive lineman in the league knocking him down. DOWN.
2. EVERY DEFENSIVE LINEMAN KNOCKING HIM DOWN.

In other non football news, today after class I was in the parking lot waiting for the traffic to clear so I could get on the street and therefore on my way home. So I'm second in line and I'm watching people drive in the parking lot. And who should it be? None other than Justin, the boyfriend of Julia who I haaaaaaaaate. He's a cool guy but unfortunately listens to everything Julia says and has no opinions of his own. Therefore, since she haaaaaaaates me more than I hate her, he hates me even though he has never EVER heard my side of the story. I've come to terms that I will never be friends with him again.

I know you might be thinking "Oh Natalie, just wait for them to break up and you can be friends again!!" Not that simple. He broke up with her about 3-4 times and each time Julia broke him down again and they started dating again. It's unfortunate that he has a much better personality when he's not dating Julia, but what can you do?

BONUS! I saw Justin's dad a few months back and he asked me why I wasn't around anymore. "Because Julia hates me." With those four words, he understood completely. He hates her too. J's dad said he would try to talk some sense into Justin, but obviously that hasn't worked out. Julia BLOCKED ME (what the hell!) from facebook minutes after our argument and apparently Justin made a new facebook profile and only friended "Julia approved" friends.

Lastly! This whole waking up early thing is killing me.

So yay!

Tonight I did some hanging out with Brittany and Simon, two friends from high school. It was mucho fun. I'm also really lazy right now so yeah. When I first got over to B's house, S and B were already watching who wants to be a millionaire. Then this dating in the dark show came on, and it was ridiculous but we couldn't stop watching. We then spent the next half hour debating what to do in GB at 9:30 at night. Aka, what was still open.

We went to B&N because we're awesome. We usually go just to look at stuff and spend a lot of time in the religion section looking over things and making jokes about our Catholic/Jewish/Lutheran backgrounds. It's just how we roll. All of us ended up buying things though. B bought this book on HP philosophy (I think?) and a new planner, S bought some crossword puzzles, and I bought a 'how to cheat in flash' book that looks cool and has some really interesting project ideas inside.
I also fretted for seriously 10 minutes at the store because I realized that adobe brought out two different flash cs4 books and I didn't know what one I was supposed to get and freaking that I bought the wrong one. Turns out I did buy the right one, so bonus points.

We also made fun of all of the Twilight merchandise in the store. [livejournal.com profile] anthean, if my local store is anything like yours, then wow. I'm sorry you have to face all of that every day. That is some ridiculous shit. I mean Twilight is fun and everything, but that is just beyond crazy.

Next we went to a cafe and got some alcohol in us and split a piece of delicious pie called tres leches I believe. I think a migraine is coming on so I'm planning on looking up a recipe when my head feels less like exploding. Yeah, my eyes hate my computer screen and find this room too bright and my music is too loud at the softest volume level. Also it's like lasers are pointing out of my eyes. I already took medication for it about 40 ish minutes ago but it's still bothering me hardcore.

Anyway, at the cafe we talked about our lives and it quickly turned around to dating. Well that was fun for me since I've never dated anyone before so I had little input for the conversation. Also, my drink had more coffee flavor than I anticipated. I knew it was in there, I didn't think it would be as strong though.

Eastbay

Aug. 3rd, 2009 11:05 pm
I uploaded my pictures from the last days of work and the after party and proof that I did steal a chair. They're at my facebook.

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2198345&id=59511521&l=73ff292103

Kayla and I worked on our chairs today. They're basically finished. All I have to do on mine is close off the bottom of the slip cover for the back of the chair. Bonus, you get to see how gross my face and hair get after a long day at work. I don't know why it does that then and not any other day. Seriously my face is like an oil slick.

And you can see my pretty computer. It's gorgeous. I love it.

Finally, thank you [livejournal.com profile] frenchroast! I got your postcard today. Thanks!! So pretty.......I hope you had a fantastic time in France! :)
So I went out drinking with a lot of coworkers from Eastbay.

There is something very gratifying about having your boss buy you a drink, swear at another worker, then pull you out to dance. I LOVE ANNIE!!!!!

I'm going to miss people so bad. I need to find them on facebook too. But I'll have to do that when I'm more sober. I'm going to go over to Kayla's now watch movie quickly, then drop it off at hollywood video so they won't get a late fee.

Yes yes my lovelies! Do my icon meme too! I want to make more icons, but I'll have to do them tomorrow. I did two so far. I'll post the results sometime tomorrow and maybe choose a different episode at that time if people liked the results.

I think I did good for a first time icon maker who doesn't know how to use photoshop very well.

Today!

Jul. 31st, 2009 12:04 pm
I'm making a cake today. Just try to stop me. 'Cus you can't. That's right.

Tonight is the "Goodbye Eastbay" party at a local bar. I think that's a little bit of poor judgement since a lot of the people who work(ed) there aren't 21 and can't come. Should be fun even though a lot of the people I usually talk to at work either can't go or aren't 21. I'm not sure how much I'll drink tonight. I just hope that Nick doesn't start flirting with me (he flirts with everyone) while if I get too tipsy because I giggle and get very excited when drinking.

Shouldn't be too bad since Tricia and Chelsea will be there and a bunch of other people said that they might show up.

Other weekend news, I'm housesitting for Kayla. Taking care of the cats. Should be interesting. I thought it would be super easy ('cus they're cats) but there are notes everywhere for me around the house. Their house definitely a lot more interesting than the house from a month ago.

Alright! So! Lunch then cake. Sounds good.

CVS told me today that I won't be starting until the second week of August. And when I say told me, I mean told my mom to tell me....and that they called yesterday when I was at work and she just remembered to tell me now.
A little girl was trying to describe this girl she knew to her mom. Her mom was just over and she just told me about it. "She has short hair like that one girl who has cool shoes and came to our house that one time. It's like her hair, but it's more like a boy's hair and less spiky."

Sweet! I turned into the girl with short spiky hair with cool shoes! I also remember the shoes I wore that day, and I agree, they are cool. Well done little girl!

Last day at Eastbay today. I took a some pictures (as I have been all week) ate free pizza twice (they bought it twice so they could get it to most people, but both times were during my shift), then after an annoying call, I logged out for the last time, turned in my headset and ID badge were turned in ($50 deposit will be in the mail soon!), and stole a chair.

I'm sitting on said chair right now, and I'm very happy. I finally have a proper computer chair! I know from a year plus experience that these chairs are good. I got it because fabric is falling off, but I was planning on replacing that anyway.

I also got a customer named Ianto today. It was awesome. He was annoyed because they spelled his name wrong, but I couldn't change it since the order got processed too far. (They spelled it Yanto)

So yeah, doin' pretty good! I'm really sleepy now, but I'm not ready to sleep quite yet. Way too early.
So I got the info regarding my final project and practical for my Flash class. AND the idea that I had last week totally works in the confines of the requirements! Score! PLUS I have until the 7th to get the project done! Totally doable. The practical is really really easy looking, making a portfolio. Simple. As. Pie. That's due the 14th "and can be finished during that class time in case of procrastination/forgetfulness."

Well, yesterday I went on a 6+ mile bike ride with Kayla and now my butt and lower back are super sore. Well, what can you do?

Awesome news: Kayla was the correct caller for the radio contest and is entered in a drawing for the Zootopia concert in NYC!! She has a 1 in 15 chance of getting the tickets and transportation! How awesome is that? Sadly I had to find out through facebook since I was in class at the time and missed her call. Whatevs.

Diana and I discussed Hawaii after class and in case you didn't know, Oahu is now "my island" according to Diana. ;) I'll take it!

Well, I have my first E-Marketing class tomorrow in 11 hours. The class has the potential to be sort of interesting or boring as hell. I don't know. Haven't really heard anything about the class. Here's to hoping there are computers in the classroom nevertheless!

So brother-in-law step-cousin (whom I met at my cousin's wedding and called me sister-in-law on my facebook. His mom married my ex-uncle a year or two ago and that was the first time we met.) is recording a record in New Orleans, and he put a sneak peak of one of the songs on his account. Sounds awesome. He's a pretty rad guy too!

weird I'm tagging family because of this since he is technically family. Distant Kentucky relation.

Alright, I'm going to attempt to stand up, walk upstairs, and go to bed. Busy day tomorrow!
I love how I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life. But that's normal right?

Anyway: sick and tired of Programming. SICK AND TIRED. JavaScript=evil. SQL=not as evil. Website Design is....alright. But Flash? Flash might be my most favorite class of all time. (that's some good grammar eh?) SERIOUSLY. I actually have fun when doing the homework and don't think of it as homework at all (except for that one time when I couldn't get the action scripting to work but I figured it out...go me)

How awesome would it be to make fun movies and animations all the time! Only the most awesomest thing ever! YEAH! Granted, I'm not very good at this yet, but who cares! This new venture looks really exciting and I'm just curious. I'm not saying I'll be the next PIXAR or Disney or anything, but seriously. Awesome.

I asked J-Wall who attends the AI in Chicago for her to call me and we can talk about stuff. THIS LOOKS SO COOL.

Ambitious Natalie deserves a new haircut. I'm going to 1. shower 2. eat 3. go work on WD homework and 4. get a haircut on the way home.
1. Twilight story.
Woke up on Saturday because I heard someone walking through my room then close the door. Woke up and on the pillow next to me was a copy of Twilight with a post-it "To Natalie, From the Tooth Fairy." My dad went to Target and picked up stuff for the house and a copy of the BluRay for me. Really super nice of my dad, but I went to Target to exchange it for the 3 Disc DVD because we don't have BluRay. Dad only saw "Twilight" and grabbed it for me because he knew I liked it. YAY DAD! :D

2. Hanging with Kayla
We made Long Island Ice Teas, hot tubbed, went to Taco Bell, Amaretto Sours, shots of something sweet, Mario Kart drinking game while drinking Amaretto Sours, I ran out and took some of Kayla's whiskey and coke, shot of whiskey, and then we cut off since I had to drive home, but we danced a lot and watched Stardust while I sobered up. Also got my nails done. Super fun girls night.

3. ZOMG AMAZING!!!! I've been blabbering about this on every place I can think of. I finished framing my movie. Yeah, I started today at 136.7 seconds and finished at 214.2. Yeah, 77.5 seconds or over third of the video. That's amazing. Now tomorrow I'll add the sound to the video and attempt to convert it to mp4 or whatever it's supposed to be in.

4. Hair cut will be Wednesday.
This is the picture. I think it's super cute and so does Kayla's family.

They say I can pull it off and I trust Kayla's mom so much on stuff like that, probably more than my mom actually.

5. I need to get to other homework since I have a crap load to do. Apparently spring break is over.....sad.
I think it's stupid too. I don't approve. Although, national media coverage? Nice. The slogan is already working!

They did a piece on it yesterday on the local news. They said that about 22% of WI tourism money comes from the area. Imagine that! About a fifth of the income coming from a fifth of the state! I know Milwaukee and Madison are huge, but come on!

At least you didn't have to ruin some preschooler's St. Patrick's Day and/or her childhood according to the ten minute rant I had to listen to today at work. Didn't want any form of compensation at all only wanted me to forward it to a supervisor. He didn't want to listen to a thing I had to say but whatever.

Here's a note from your Auntie Natalie in Customer Service. When you make a purchase at a store with a credit card, make sure you take your card back from the associate who swiped it for you and not let them steal it and take out $260 from an ATM because that would be stupid right? Granted the guy had a baby and shopping bags, but seriously dude, it's your credit card!

Not sure if I'm going to school tomorrow or not. I'm going out to lunch with my old high school friend Patrick. Should be awesome and legendary. Last time we spent about two/three hours chillin in Panera. Time before I had to duck and cover to avoid Pedro at Perkin's....which led to many "Como estas Natalie! I have foot snacks loaded in your car for you! Do you want to see Batman with meeeeee!!??!!!?!??? My comic book shirts are awesome!"

I broke down and bought the stompy boots and the pair of pumas. Yaaaaaaay!

Weather was RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING today. Almost 70 outside! Cheers could be heard all around as Natalie spent most of it at her cubicle then filling out NCAA brackets so I can win awesome stuff show off you don't need to know crap about the tournament to do well. So to all of the people spending hours on their bracket moaning if the fifth seed can beat the seventh.....SUCK IT. LULZ! :D
Dear Pussycat Dolls,

Please go away and/or die. Your songs are crap and you shouldn't rip off Jai Ho like that. Get an original idea. No, just go away, you don't have any friends. And you're all skank dragons.

ex oh,
Natalie

The storm wasn't as bad as they said it was, but there was THUNDER SNOW which was flippin awesome to see. Lightning and thunder during a snow storm is too awesome. I didn't go to class since the roads looked like crap. Moms would be 5 minute drive home from work was more like 10+ and dad's 20 minute drive was more like 45. My class starts at 5:00 and apparently all classes that started after 5:30 were canceled so I don't believe many people showed up since it's super rare to have a class starting on the hour at my school. All in all, I'm guessing 5 inches of snow. The storm slid to our south when the forecast said it would be on top of us (that's what she said) all night, so that's several hours of storm we didn't get! yay! No nine inches of snow! The roads may be back to normal tomorrow!

Lulz note, my brother's school friend is supposed to be flying out of the Green Bay airport to Texas tonight. I wonder if he got here or not because this storm was originally bad ass.

At times the snow was falling an inch an hour and it was actually really dangerous outside. I emailed Diana saying I wouldn't be in class but I didn't hear anything back yet. I'll probably go to school tomorrow to work on homework and stuff since I haven't done so yet. I'm kind of behind in SQL and I still suck ass at JavaScript, but I can do that at home. That's a Sunday project there, flippin JavaScript.

I'm tired before midnight, that's odd...or ood as I almost typed. Is there a start date for Top Gear and/or Torchwood and/or Doctor Who special yet? Just wondering.

Lastly, did anyone else think the Top Chef finale was pure crap? UGH COME ON! *Winner's name* Seriously? NO. I refuse. It's like season 2 all over again where Marcel got robbed. But at least Marcel was in the episode and made a lulz worthy comment: "you want to take a piece of fresh fish, freeze it, then shave it? Whatever not my problem." or something like that and I agree, stupid idea and technique. It's basically putting a fish stick in a blender. MMmmmmm Nummy.

Last thing I swear: I officially became one of the family to Kayla's dog since he 1. didn't attack me when I first entered the house, 2. accompanied me to the couch where he 3. Licked my entire face (and every crevice) then rubbed his body on it. It was great fun especially since I've never had a mammal pet so it was a weird situation.
So my teacher for Flash friended me on facebook. Huh. I accepted it because well yeah. She's a huge dork/geek too (ex today she dressed up as the Doctor and didn't care that I was going to be the only one who got the joke). Brown suit, red tie, converse and everything. It was awesome.

Also: There is only one more episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien. I don't know what I'll do with myself for the 3(?) month absence. Like I've watched this show every weekday for 1+ years and very frequently before that. I don't know how my life will function without a little COB in my life.

Today in class we are starting scripting for Flash and that was so welcome after the fact that I spent over 24 hours scripting previously. Eh....eh! I didn't finish the homework assignment (boo!) but it was difficult to get help when Diana was helping Jon understand the concept of copy and pasting stuff onto new layers....while he was going above and beyond his already over ambitious project that was last weeks assignment because he wasn't happy with it.

I HAD TO TEACH HIM COPY AND PASTE LAST WEEK. SERIOUSLY. Then he couldn't remember how and asked the teacher. He's a nice guy but this is the third class with him and I wish he would get better study habits or get a tutor or something because this is beyond ridiculous. And remembering his work from the Illustrator class, it wasn't all that great.

Even though I don't have class tomorrow, I still have to go to school so I can get my homework done. I wish I had my new computer....I wonder if I can get my dad to transfer some money from my college fund....I'm almost graduated anyway.

Random thing: the other day at work I needed to look up a Foot Locker store in Queens, NY but we (Kat and I) were having trouble finding the one that the customer was talking about, so we just typed in Queens and one of the results was in Cardiff as in Wales. I only bring this up because it was funny to me at the time and today I was watching Last of the Time Lords and when The Doctor, Jack, and Martha are in the plaza talking about how "zomg! the Master is Saxon!" in the background is a Foot Locker. Even though it's supposed to be London it's really filmed in Cardiff so I giggled more today about the whole Foot Locker thing....which no one will find funny.

Is it kind of sad that I'm trying to be as dorky as possible during Flash? Every project sans the first has been fandom related and it seems like Diana and I are trying to almost one up each other week by week. Super fun! Although now that I'm friends with Diana I probably shouldn't be updating facebook during her class...maybe.
So yesterday was horrible. It was not fun. When I went home for dinner at 7, I had to go back at 8 and at about 8:20 I realized I wanted to go home again. haha, too bad I had over three hours left. My dept was really really slow and it sucked. I'm so glad that Megan was there as long as she was. We were both going insane. She was trying to get a way so we could both just leave work around 10 and go to Los Banditos to eat chili and other yummy Mexican foods. She actually even called the restaurant at 10 ish to order food to pick up when her shift was over.

It goes without saying: I didn't get to leave and get yummy Mexican food.

There was a Jordan launch yesterday. It sucked. It wasn't classified as a high demand launch so they didn't offer a gc for picking up the extra hours and didn't schedule anyone extra. So it was a launch for a slightly popular item with the normal about of staff that we have on a Friday night. AKA not much. There were so many calls in queue and it didn't calm down until 11:40ish and still we were busy. Sucked. I didn't get to leave until 12:10 because of my long ass call I had at the end. Kind of hoping that they actually give me those extra ten minutes because sometimes they aren't nice at work force and don't...then again I'm usually only a minute or two minutes after my shift and they must not bother with that.

DOLLHOUSE=AWESOME. Joss is Boss.
TERMININATOR:SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES=AWESOME. So glad this is back.

CORALINE: BEST 3D MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN. Well, I haven't seen a lot of 3D movies so I can't really judge well on that. Kayla has and she said it was the best. Although, we were surprised this was only PG not PG-13 but maybe that's because we went into the movie going "eh, it's PG not scary or freeky or anything" you think I would know better from Blink. So yeah, a little creepy, a little bit of "adult" humor that I can't believe passed as PG humor. But I liked it A LOT and will probably buy it when it gets cheaper in the stores since I hate buying expensive movies. Generally if it's over $15 I won't buy it. (Exceptions: Labyrinth, and tv shows that are on sale)

I have to go to work tonight and that's one of the last places I want to be right now. Too bad I need money!

Lastly: This is an awesome Top Gear + Obama story and I love it. Why did I not see it before? Seriously awesome

Anyway, worst call of my life today. It was rough. The customer was the store manager and he was being a jerk face bastard and then continued to be one to my supervisor Kat. So if you're going to Milford, CT in the near future, don't go to their Footaction USA. Well, he might not be there for much longer.

Also found out that one of my good work friends got nominated for employee of the month which is awesome! yay Megan!

Jake my other supervisor told me he bought the first Sookie Stackhouse book and that I'm third in line to borrow it. Awesome. Every now and then we quote it: "ain't nothing but hate and fear coming off that cornbread." Loves it.

I'm going to the movies with Kayla tonight, yay! I need to get my JavaScript done before then.

OH AND LUSH TODAY!!! My order came today which makes everything better.
So I'm picking up extra hours. I got some four hours for Sunday night and I picked up an extra SEVEN for Friday afternoon. That's right friends, I get to work at 12 shift ends at 7, my shift starts at 8 and ends at 12. MEANING, 11 hours of work on one day. Why did Megan convince me to do that?
She also has me writing a sequel to Breaking Dawn. Lulz. If you want it, I might post it here.

Anyway: yesterday I had training for stupid InStore Customer Service, aka the sixth level of hell. Basically it's the complaint line. NO. I REFUSE. It's the line where people complain that the store associate was mean and gave them the stink eye and they're going to sue Foot Locker because of it. NO GUYS NO!!!!

DO NOT WANT.

But bright side: it's above freezing outside. I know, I'm confused too. I like watching the snow melting. GO AWAY. Although, there's going to be so much ice when it drops below freezing again...only to melt when it goes above freezing again. YAY! This week is going to have happy temperatures!

Oh crap, just realized I have a dentist appointment in the morning on Friday. I'm going through hell on Friday, dentist, work, more work and work! Whyyyyy am I dumb like that?
