No. It's a day of the week + a number. Next question.

Going to my super long shift at work now. Why did I think this was a good idea a week ago? *curses Megan for convincing me to sign up for the hours*

Anyway, worst call of my life today. It was rough. The customer was the store manager and he was being a jerk face bastard and then continued to be one to my supervisor Kat. So if you're going to Milford, CT in the near future, don't go to their Footaction USA. Well, he might not be there for much longer.

Also found out that one of my good work friends got nominated for employee of the month which is awesome! yay Megan!

Jake my other supervisor told me he bought the first Sookie Stackhouse book and that I'm third in line to borrow it. Awesome. Every now and then we quote it: "ain't nothing but hate and fear coming off that cornbread." Loves it.

I'm going to the movies with Kayla tonight, yay! I need to get my JavaScript done before then.

OH AND LUSH TODAY!!! My order came today which makes everything better.
So I'm picking up extra hours. I got some four hours for Sunday night and I picked up an extra SEVEN for Friday afternoon. That's right friends, I get to work at 12 shift ends at 7, my shift starts at 8 and ends at 12. MEANING, 11 hours of work on one day. Why did Megan convince me to do that?
She also has me writing a sequel to Breaking Dawn. Lulz. If you want it, I might post it here.

Anyway: yesterday I had training for stupid InStore Customer Service, aka the sixth level of hell. Basically it's the complaint line. NO. I REFUSE. It's the line where people complain that the store associate was mean and gave them the stink eye and they're going to sue Foot Locker because of it. NO GUYS NO!!!!

DO NOT WANT.

But bright side: it's above freezing outside. I know, I'm confused too. I like watching the snow melting. GO AWAY. Although, there's going to be so much ice when it drops below freezing again...only to melt when it goes above freezing again. YAY! This week is going to have happy temperatures!

Oh crap, just realized I have a dentist appointment in the morning on Friday. I'm going through hell on Friday, dentist, work, more work and work! Whyyyyy am I dumb like that?
Taken is such a fantastic movie! OMG, OMG!
GO WATCH IT.
I wanted to see Slumdog Millionare and Kayla wanted to see Taken. We did rock paper scissors, let's just say that scissors beat paper. But I didn't care. SO AWESOME!!!

Yeah, I totally ditched my JavaScript lab time to go see a movie with Kayla. So worth it.

It's soooo great. Wow. GO. Really, go.

After the movie, we drove by Eastbay and decided to pick up our schedules since they're printed out on Wednesday evenings. We were so awesome stopping by at 11:20 on a Wednesday night.

I'm going to watch tv now. Yaaay!
Me to customer in Kentucky: Well, we tried to call you last week on the 27th to tell you but....
Customer interrupts: I LIVE IN KENTUCKY AND I HAD NO PHONES OR ELECTRICITY BECAUSE OF THE IIIIIIICE STOOOOOOOOOORM WHY DON'T YOU KNOW THIS???
Me: Well that's what I was going to say, I wasn't sure how bad the storm affected you in your area and that's why I told you we already tried to contact you about your item not being available. Your options are......blah blah blah

Seriously, I may be young and in college and can quote shows verbatim but I still know about something called NEWS. Ugh.

Also awesome: I needed to call back a customer about what I found out about from UPS (yay! Tiffany and Desmond are super cool and awesome!) and I had to leave a voice mail. (I have to do that a lot because our number looks like something you would avoid on caller id) Anyway, you know the computer prompts like "I'm sorry _____ is not available right now," and you can put your own name in the blank? Well this guy's name is Devon but on his voice mail it was "Big Cheese" no joke. You don't know what it took for me to deliver my message and call back number without laughing.

Then he called me back because to him only I could help him!! WHAT NO! I gave him all the information and the girl who transferred him to me already gave it to him and he just wanted to make sure she was right. UGH RIDICULOUS!!!

But sweet Texas guy called me Miss Natalie at the end of the call, as in "Thank you for your help Miss Natalie." Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, I'm a sucker for stuff like that.

THIS IS AWESOME!!! Barney's Video Resume...what up!? I love HIMYM so much!!
I'm so bored, slightly confused, and headachy. I want to go home.

I hate mondays. So long and I'm really crabby at the end of the day.

Heroes starts again in a week so I should be happier then.

I work tomorrow morning/afternoon then I'm going to spend the rest of the time doing JavaScript homework because I'm a little masochistic. Then I'll finish watching The Last Templar with Spy Daddy/Jesus...Victor Garber. Yay! Did anyone else watch/plan to watch?

Yesterday I read The Sheik online. I liked it overall, but found Diana's change in heart kind of frightening. She changed from "I HATE YOU" to "I love you!" too quickly. Although Ahmed did sound like a very interesting (and pretty!) character.

Uh, class is starting again, peace out!
It was sooooo loooooooooong and borrrrring today. Makes me cry. So slow. I almost fell asleep and started to feel like crap towards the end. Also had to take eastbay calls and they were easy and nice. Two simple questions and two calls I had to transfer then I was back to MSC calls. For some reason a store in Quebec called the English line instead of the French one. It was weird, but maybe there wasn't anyone there who could speak French today...because we were slow.

I finished my sql homework in 20 minutes...no joke. Take that ERD! I've mastered you! (only took like....five months) Then I wrote my [livejournal.com profile] dramione_ldws entry in less than an hour. First I had 75 words, then 99 then I added an adjective. I kept rereading it and I love it. I wish there wasn't a word limit though, it could've been even more amazing if I could've written more. Still I love it and I really hope I'm not eliminated on the first challenge again because that would be suxz0rz.

I had five calls with screaming children in the background. So awful. Blerg. I want to sleep now.

Pizza and movies tomorrow (hopefully I won't die before then!)
I'm not feeling awesome right about now. Ugh, what did I eat and/or what's wrong with me? UGH!

Anyway, still going to work because I'm dedicated...or need the money. You decide why I'm doing this. I'm bringing SQL homework with me and the guidelines for the [livejournal.com profile] dramione_ldws challenge. Princess Bride yay! Not sure what I'll do with the prompt, but I'll think of something. AND 100 WORDS! Yikes!

I just hope I'm feeling better tomorrow, I got plans for a movie/pizza night with some girls from work.
DON'T BE SICK.

Hopefully it will be slow so I can get things done and that I might be able to go home early. I would like that. Oh yes I would.
Posh Tosh, what a bitch!
Aka: I need a new computer soon.
I'm sorry I've abused you, but don't die on me please.

Anyway, my grandpa is over for dinner and he started talking about how he used to have this cassette tape of "some happy song" and we've figured out that it was "Don't Worry, Be Happy" so it's my job now to download it from iTunes and burn it on a CD. Which is why Posh Tosh is making a weird noise while burning the disk. It's never done that before.

It's awesome because I got $2 from my grandpa to do this even though I told him it cost $1. "For my trouble," he said. Whatever! Awesome! I then spulrged and bought other songs on iTunes that I've wanted for awhile for some reason. Most are crack and Top 40 songs.

Work last night was weird. Sarah was there, and I learned how she can be even more over protective of her 11 year old daughter than I thought possible (based on my first impression of her anyway). I like her as a person, but sometimes (especially when it's just us at the end of the night) she tries to get as much personal information about me. "Do you have a boyfriend?" "What do you think about this controversial subject?" "Celebrity crushes: go."

Also: there was a 40+ minute interval without any calls for Sarah and I. It was weird, but gave us more time to bond and whatever. Becky almost was debating giving one of us the option of going home, but she didn't because we would've been understaffed. Whatever. I wasn't going to take the cold spot anyway since it's like throwing away $20 because I wanted to go home early. I can suck it up when I have to.

OH! And [livejournal.com profile] dramione_ldws GO! There are some good LOTR and Moulin Rouge! drabbles there (including one by yours truly!) so if you have the time go and read them. It's a free "just for fun" round so there isn't voting, but still check out the round!
This is my friend Stephanie's pic (sorry the html is being a bitch), if you're awesome you will vote for her! :3 Thanks! (also a reminder for me to vote once a day) And if you're in the voting mood: Voting for Green Bay will be really cool since they donate cans to the local food pantry. Also once a day thing if you're interested.

Work was really slow. I spent most of my time reading Shattered Mirror by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I liked it...even though I spotted some mistakes in there. "Brothes" instead of Brother and "I" instead of "me" once. Still liked it, and hell it's better than what I could write so I can't judge. I'll read the next book tomorrow so I can give them back to Kayla when she returns from her amazing trip to London/Dublin...where ever she is now. One of the two cities anyway.

But I did have to call UPS Canada twice and regular UPS not at all. Pam was especially AWESOME and I was ready to call the customer back with the AMAZING news and I had to lmom (leave message on machine) it. As a customer service individual, I LOVE hearing two words: thank you (especially when I had to do a lot of work for them. Not being polite makes me less inclined to do more work for people. Write that down and suck it.

I also got conned by some Alabama woman. She said that she needed compensation for the unnecessary drive to the store she had to take. I offered her a gift card. She asked how much (ugh greedy mcgreederson) $10. Wasn't enough. Asked what she was expecting. $35!! Nevertheless, I had to relay the request to a sup, who granted it. Whatever. I later googled the two cities, and they aren't even 20 miles apart. Bitch. Unless she drives a tank, she didn't need $35.

I also emailed Lush cust serv, and they are behind schedule due to the amount of orders and bad weather conditions=not everyone getting to the factory to fix stuff. They also are going to upgrade my shipping so it still arrives in the timeframe promised. Yay lush! :3 I love them.

Also: found the song at the end of Ugly Betty. It's La Ritournelle by Sébastien Tellier if anyone is interested, because I know it was driving ME crazy at least!
Not how I wanted to wake up, but whatever.

I woke up with my head feeling very heavy (not so much now) and it's hard to hear out of my ears. ughs. Then work called wondering if I could come in asap. I already have an 8 hour shift today but I'm aiming to go in around 12:30 ish. During my review, my boss Annie asked me to try to pick up more trades and hot spots because I wasn't doing that before....I would've if I could've.

I'll write about my awesome day that was yesterday and the wtf-ery that was work yesterday (and probably today too)

Of course my worst ear is the one that I put my headset on. *grumblecakes*

I WAS GOING TO TAKE A LOOOOOOONG BATH TODAY BUT NOOOOOO WORK HAD TO CALL
also my new lush stuff neeeds to turn up soon. Then I need to wait for them to restock so I can replace some of my stuff that's running low. Crazy addiction.
*counts* so. 4 movies to go....less than 8 hours left in the day. Oops. Whatever. I passed tv that's all that matters. I'm surprised I watched 96 movies this year, I thought it would've been more, but it's tough to watch movies alone all the time.

Anyway, apparently no one bothered to invite me to a New Year's party, so I'm having one at my house...which is so far only attended by one other person. Yessssss. All of the people I invited either said "I can't go," or haven't bothered to respond yet.

One friend invited me out to lunch sometime as a substitute. I'll take it.

Mom dragged me to the mall today. Not a fan. I didn't see anything I liked and I just got a headache. Boooooo.

It was really busy this morning at work. Usually it's really slow, not so much today. Probably because not as many people were working today. What can you do? I also had two people YELL at me for something that wasn't my fault. #1. Company policy, I can't change it. And the other #2. It's not something I have the power to change. I'm not God and can control when UPS delivers packages.

Best quote. Me to a customer in VA: Your package hasn't shipped yet, but we're trying to locate a store for you. We're currently looking at a store in Maryland.
Customer: Nonononono, Maryland is too far away!
Me: .... uh we're shipping these shoes to you, you don't have to pick them up.
Cust: Oh good!

I also love it when you do a crap load of work for a customer and they don't even say thank you.
But old nice Texan guys are nice, "I appreciate your courtesy ma'am." awwwwwwwwe
I have a cramp in my leg. It been around for I'm guessing...three hours now? It's just worse now. Ugharoahg.

Oh and happy post Christmas shopping extravangza today! It was super awesome, especially some Champs store in I think Georgia that wanted nothing to do with me and a Foot Locker manager who was in the bathroom for 10+ minutes. Excellent times bbs!

Whatever, that's done. I actually get REAL hours next week, and that's probably only because I signed up for holiday hours. Nice.

I really loved Doctor Who yesterday. It was worth it (and I stayed relatively unspoiled!!!) Maui, loves it. (stupid thing I think is funny that no one else knows where it's from)

Presents: the same slippers my mom bought last year that I didn't like and returned for a new pair, cook book from my brother, gift cards for the movies, pants, Beedle the Bard, and AWESOME:: A copy of my grandpa's old joke collection bound in a nice book. The real deal, photocopies of jokes that my cousin found in two boxes under my grandpa's bed when we were cleaning it after he died. They're HILARIOUS!!! It also has two nice pictures of him. I love it. LOVE IT. My cousin and his wife put it together and it's my favorite thing I got this year.

Also, I did get back my white elephant gift. My cousin was sulking after the exchange because he wanted what I got (a 36 pack of AA batteries) and my uncle asked if I would trade, and I did....because I still don't know what I have that runs on AA batteries!!
It was lame though, there was a $10 limit, and my cousin and boyfriend spent $20 together on the collector edition of The Dark Knight, so obviously EVERYONE wanted that. Ugh. Batteries and The Dark Knight? There's no comparison!

Well, Peace out A-Town! I'm still not done knitting mom's present and her b-day is tomorrow. I'll post pics when I'm done.
Yep. LJ says that I haven't posted anything for four days. I haven't been doing much though. I didn't even do anything for Memorial Day.

Sports: Pistons are tied 2-2 and play a game tonight in Boston. Hopefully they will win. Red Wings also play tonight. They lead 2-0. Emelie from Sweden is jealous that I get to watch the games. They do broadcast them live in Sweden, but they are live and start at 2:30 AM and she's too tired to watch the whole game since she's still in school.

Work is work. Blehrg. I won't bore you with the details since it is normally the same thing over an over. But I did do some training yesterday for a new way to do something....but we can't start doing it until the 16th. Whatever. I also went 1h 45 min without taking an order. It was so weird. After my break I took order after order after order though, so I guess it evened out.

I had a dream that involved going up north, wearing hoop skirts, mix of past/present times, dumping bags of pellet fish food into the lakes to lure fish, a carriage chase, trying to get husbands a la Jane Austen. It was really cool. I wanted to write it down so I could attempt to write it, but not it's too jumbled and makes no sense. Too bad since it was more awesome than your face.

Tomorrow Brittany and I are getting together to watch Lost. She's going to be caught up by then and it will be nice to be able to exclaim "OMG WTF" and "well played show, well played *golf clap*" and have someone there who understands. I had that with my old roommate and with J-Wall when she's in town. Last year watching parts 1&2 of the Doctor Who finale was awesome. She needs to come back to Geebs right now.

I'm also insanely excited for the rest of Who. That promo was amazing. Heck yes.

And that's all I have to say about that.
My whole nine hour shift could be summarized with this sentence: "No the Jordans aren't on sale yet, they will be released 12 EST, 11 CST...etc. Call back then."

Jordans are the shoe equivalent of Harry Potter. It's ridiculous. Most of the shoes are hella ugly too. This is the big hit item for tonight, and sold out in less than 20 minutes: Jordan Men's Collezione 17/6

At least I got paid some goooooood money tonight and might get some gift cards out of it. I work a Jordan launch next week as well.

Moral of the story: nine hours working at eastbay=not bad. Kind of a blur though...and my voice and neck hurt. Surprisingly, I'm not hungry either since I didn't get a lunch break. I just got a 15 and a 10 minute break and snacked. (half keebler cookie package, not even half fruit snack). I also got TWO calls from Hawaii. Nicely done. And all the people who called me and got the Colleziones (not the other not as popular or expensive released Jordans called "Armed Forces") were from the California or Hawaii. Clearly, they have the advantage since they aren't as tired when they call in.

Now I'm going to stay up for a bit....NOT think about work or shoes or anything work related so I won't DREAM about work. Because the last thing I want to do while dreaming is to ask random people their account information or look up products in the database. DO NOT WANT!!!
