Dear Pussycat Dolls,

Please go away and/or die. Your songs are crap and you shouldn't rip off Jai Ho like that. Get an original idea. No, just go away, you don't have any friends. And you're all skank dragons.

ex oh,
Natalie

The storm wasn't as bad as they said it was, but there was THUNDER SNOW which was flippin awesome to see. Lightning and thunder during a snow storm is too awesome. I didn't go to class since the roads looked like crap. Moms would be 5 minute drive home from work was more like 10+ and dad's 20 minute drive was more like 45. My class starts at 5:00 and apparently all classes that started after 5:30 were canceled so I don't believe many people showed up since it's super rare to have a class starting on the hour at my school. All in all, I'm guessing 5 inches of snow. The storm slid to our south when the forecast said it would be on top of us (that's what she said) all night, so that's several hours of storm we didn't get! yay! No nine inches of snow! The roads may be back to normal tomorrow!

Lulz note, my brother's school friend is supposed to be flying out of the Green Bay airport to Texas tonight. I wonder if he got here or not because this storm was originally bad ass.

At times the snow was falling an inch an hour and it was actually really dangerous outside. I emailed Diana saying I wouldn't be in class but I didn't hear anything back yet. I'll probably go to school tomorrow to work on homework and stuff since I haven't done so yet. I'm kind of behind in SQL and I still suck ass at JavaScript, but I can do that at home. That's a Sunday project there, flippin JavaScript.

I'm tired before midnight, that's odd...or ood as I almost typed. Is there a start date for Top Gear and/or Torchwood and/or Doctor Who special yet? Just wondering.

Lastly, did anyone else think the Top Chef finale was pure crap? UGH COME ON! *Winner's name* Seriously? NO. I refuse. It's like season 2 all over again where Marcel got robbed. But at least Marcel was in the episode and made a lulz worthy comment: "you want to take a piece of fresh fish, freeze it, then shave it? Whatever not my problem." or something like that and I agree, stupid idea and technique. It's basically putting a fish stick in a blender. MMmmmmm Nummy.

Last thing I swear: I officially became one of the family to Kayla's dog since he 1. didn't attack me when I first entered the house, 2. accompanied me to the couch where he 3. Licked my entire face (and every crevice) then rubbed his body on it. It was great fun especially since I've never had a mammal pet so it was a weird situation.
So I can't find my classes. Yikes. I did find a "spare" set of glasses from like six years ago and my eyes have changed since then. Super good news? I have to go to work soonish and unless I find my real glasses I'll have to wear these....and probably get a headache....and may have to call work force and ask to leave early because of it.

Second: Apparently Late Night went an extra SIX minutes yesterday and I was recording it because I would've missed the first half hour because I was at work. So I need to go to hulu or something and watch the last six minutes sometime.

Also the Shawn/Juliet shipper in me went "Ahhhhhhhhh no way" and I'm not telling you why. I love Psych.

Finally, yesterday Jake gave me the first book of the Sookie Stackhouse series and I read about 50 pages of it at work. WOW! This is a fun quick read! I like how I'm still in the first chunk of the book and most of the episodes have gone by. Although no Lafayette in the book? Bitch please.

*hunts for missing glasses*
So my teacher for Flash friended me on facebook. Huh. I accepted it because well yeah. She's a huge dork/geek too (ex today she dressed up as the Doctor and didn't care that I was going to be the only one who got the joke). Brown suit, red tie, converse and everything. It was awesome.

Also: There is only one more episode of Late Night with Conan O'Brien. I don't know what I'll do with myself for the 3(?) month absence. Like I've watched this show every weekday for 1+ years and very frequently before that. I don't know how my life will function without a little COB in my life.

Today in class we are starting scripting for Flash and that was so welcome after the fact that I spent over 24 hours scripting previously. Eh....eh! I didn't finish the homework assignment (boo!) but it was difficult to get help when Diana was helping Jon understand the concept of copy and pasting stuff onto new layers....while he was going above and beyond his already over ambitious project that was last weeks assignment because he wasn't happy with it.

I HAD TO TEACH HIM COPY AND PASTE LAST WEEK. SERIOUSLY. Then he couldn't remember how and asked the teacher. He's a nice guy but this is the third class with him and I wish he would get better study habits or get a tutor or something because this is beyond ridiculous. And remembering his work from the Illustrator class, it wasn't all that great.

Even though I don't have class tomorrow, I still have to go to school so I can get my homework done. I wish I had my new computer....I wonder if I can get my dad to transfer some money from my college fund....I'm almost graduated anyway.

Random thing: the other day at work I needed to look up a Foot Locker store in Queens, NY but we (Kat and I) were having trouble finding the one that the customer was talking about, so we just typed in Queens and one of the results was in Cardiff as in Wales. I only bring this up because it was funny to me at the time and today I was watching Last of the Time Lords and when The Doctor, Jack, and Martha are in the plaza talking about how "zomg! the Master is Saxon!" in the background is a Foot Locker. Even though it's supposed to be London it's really filmed in Cardiff so I giggled more today about the whole Foot Locker thing....which no one will find funny.

Is it kind of sad that I'm trying to be as dorky as possible during Flash? Every project sans the first has been fandom related and it seems like Diana and I are trying to almost one up each other week by week. Super fun! Although now that I'm friends with Diana I probably shouldn't be updating facebook during her class...maybe.
Today's Dreamweaver assignment sucked. So much work and I feel like I'm no where to being done. The site for reference. I won't be able to fix it until Thursday by the way...maybe Wednesday. Basically the button links don't work, the footer links won't stylize correctly, I messed something up on the clear divs (or something not sure) so the last section (summary) on the individual reviews won't clear (even though they did earlier so wtf), need to fix the rounded box transparency... also other stuff. And I'm not done with the actual assignment. UGH. LAME SAUCE. Meanwhile Robert is going to go through and grade (hopefully...please? At least post past grades!) my past assignments and see the pile of crap on my site.

If you see why my stuff isn't clearing, can you tell me why before I cry? I'll probably figure it out, but I have enough on my plate. (Also why my footer links won't change...that would be lovely as I have tried many things) I think I made a mistake when uploading my newest CSS page since I was in a rush to get to SQL since I was running late because I know for a fact it was working correctly before!

Also I realized that Jon can be really annoying. Actually I've known this for a long time. He can be really nice but really annoying. He's also not the greatest at the graphic related classes I've had with him (three so far) but he made some cool things with Maya in the past which makes me wonder how.

Then SQL just is made of pure suck. Why why why why. Even people who are better than me thinks it sucks galore. I did figure out one of the statements by myself though! Karen was subbing today and wondered if anyone had the answer (I did yay!) and wanted me to give her the commands (while I was eating something! lulz!) I love Karen. I probably would like the class better if she were teaching it.

Tomorrow I'm going to FINISH my JavaScript homework so I can have time to review for the Lab Practical on Wednesday (which is going to suck).

Plus for today? My student fees helped pay for some cookies so I got to have a cookie break during class. There will be another one on Wednesday which is exciting as I couldn't go to them last semester. Also, I have fallen in love with a music mix I made for a class (that I never turned in) a few months ago. For making it in two seconds, it's really good! I approve.

At least the semester is 1/3 done!

WHAT THE HELL???? It works fine on a mac but not a PC?  What?  What kind of fuckery is this?  If you have a PC please check my site to make sure I'm not crazy because two of the big problems are working of my MacBook and didn't on the PC at school.
And their like you wanna trade cards?
Yeah I wanna trade Cards
But Not my charizard.

You know, I never managed to get myself a charizard. I saw a holo one that my friend got once. He had it in a special hard case and everything. Anyway, I was cleaning my room today and found my pokemon cards which got me thinking: how much are these worth? So I counted them up and made an inventory (zomg 360 cards not including energies) now I just need so see if and where I can sell them. I like how I thought when I was younger these were going to be HUGE collectors items and I would be super rich.

Eh, whatever. I still need several hundred dollars until I can afford my new iMac. I don't get paid for a long time and I think it will be decent, then I got my tax refunds to do! yay for that!

I'm trying to think if I have anything else of "value" I can sell that I don't use. I have a great coat that (sort of) looks like Jacks. Maybe I should sell that since it's huge on me. I want my new computer noooow. Posh Tosh probably needs some sort of repairs but I don't want to pay for that when I can get a new computer. Sorry Tosh.

Talking about saving money, went to the drug store today and bought Iron Man because it was there and cheap, then bought a ped egg because it was there and I wanted to know if it really worked. (It does)

Right! Time to search the internetz and see if I can get anything for these stupid cards that the Japanese made me buy by brainwashing me as a child!

There. I'll share my thoughts about Coraline in a few as well as my surprising awesomeness when it comes to understanding Fringe because I saw that ending coming a mile away.

Anyway, worst call of my life today. It was rough. The customer was the store manager and he was being a jerk face bastard and then continued to be one to my supervisor Kat. So if you're going to Milford, CT in the near future, don't go to their Footaction USA. Well, he might not be there for much longer.

Also found out that one of my good work friends got nominated for employee of the month which is awesome! yay Megan!

Jake my other supervisor told me he bought the first Sookie Stackhouse book and that I'm third in line to borrow it. Awesome. Every now and then we quote it: "ain't nothing but hate and fear coming off that cornbread." Loves it.

I'm going to the movies with Kayla tonight, yay! I need to get my JavaScript done before then.

OH AND LUSH TODAY!!! My order came today which makes everything better.
Taken is such a fantastic movie! OMG, OMG!
GO WATCH IT.
I wanted to see Slumdog Millionare and Kayla wanted to see Taken. We did rock paper scissors, let's just say that scissors beat paper. But I didn't care. SO AWESOME!!!

Yeah, I totally ditched my JavaScript lab time to go see a movie with Kayla. So worth it.

It's soooo great. Wow. GO. Really, go.

After the movie, we drove by Eastbay and decided to pick up our schedules since they're printed out on Wednesday evenings. We were so awesome stopping by at 11:20 on a Wednesday night.

I'm going to watch tv now. Yaaay!
The reason I over slept today is because my alarm clock woke me up much earlier and I just decided to press snooze, but I turned it off. So instead of sleeping for 10 more minutes, I slept for two and a half more hours. Yeah. Oh well, I got here on time.

I also just noticed two errors with my website review project for school. I'm far too lazy to set up Dreamweaver on this computer though. Luckily it's a two second fix so spending five minutes to set this computer up is not exciting to me. I might just ignore one of the errors too.

I don't want to go to class! I want to go home, take a shower, eat some yummy food, and get ready to watch Heroes. Please? Please? I don't want to go to SQL.

Lastly, there's this guy on the other side of the computer lab who I recognize, but I don't know where from. I hope he doesn't know me or comes over to talk to me. And for the inevitable question: no he's not cute. Where do I know him from?

Weirdly, there's a fish tank in the lab full of water and rocks and plastic plants and stuff, but no fish. There's even fish food on the top of the tank! Weird world.

I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE!!! CAN I HAS HEROES NAO??
I woke up at 11:05 as in 25 minutes before I should leave for class. Left my house at 11:37 as in seven minutes late.
But hells yes! I got into class at 12:01 and by was no means late since we have a few minutes to set up computers and all that jazz.

Loooooooved the Super Bowl. that's how the game should be played.

I should run.....again. I need to think of something interesting to say about my website review that other people haven't already said.
I have to go to school in 45 minutes. Maybe I should get ready as in get out bed, take a shower, and eat something. I really hope that Karen doesn't keep us late tonight.
I take it back.  I love this stuff.  In November I got a stash of Lush and I bought volcano foot mask.  I tried it then and wasn't impressed at all.  I decided to give it another go and so far it's actually working and following it's product description.  I still don't like the smell, but it's on my feet and wrapped in cling wrap and my slippers.  I won't be smelling my feet anytime soon and I got it off of my hands asap.  But it's nice and tingly warm (and sometimes burning which feels fantastic)  Hopefully it will work when I wash it off!

I'm also getting really impatient that my new stash hasn't shipped yet.  If I don't hear anything by tomorrow night, I'll give cust serv a call.  They're probably incredibly backed up, but they already took the money out of my checking account.

Anyway, I woke up this morning and couldn't hear out of my ear...again.  It's a little better, but I still can't hear.  Whatever.

I'm going to try to get my brother to get my car's oil changed for me since I don't feel like going out.  Besides what would I even do while waiting for it to get done?  Besides#2, I would have to get dressed in normal clothes.  I'm currently wearing random shirt I don't wear in public paired with boho chic sparkly skirt....and I have volcano on my feet.  I don't want to ask him now since he just got back from doing the same thing for my parents.  Besides#3, they'll probably try to sucker me in and buying a super deluxe package deal that I don't need.

My room is a mess.  I attempted to clean it a few weeks ago, but it just got messier.  I haven't really done anything since.  oops.

But yesterday I found out some facts: I can still fit in the following things:
  • Junior Prom/Junior Girls dress (spring 2005) but barely, apparently my boobs have grown a lot since HS
  • 2004-2005 Show choir dress (it's really cheap looking)
  • Senior year Homecoming dress (fall 2005), still looks really pretty I still love the beading
I was going to try my 2005-06 show choir dress but I got cold from standing around in almost nothing putting on dresses.  (The heat in the house lowers at night so it was cold in the house)  Moral of the story, feels good that I'm still at my high school weight...sort of.

I should also get my voting done for [livejournal.com profile] dramione_awards and consider some more about signing up for [livejournal.com profile] dramione_ldws  even though I wasn't that good last round.  But it is an excuse to get some writing done (so I can practice for my crack!secret project I mentioned a few weeks ago.)  There, gave you a clue, it's something dramione related...and writing.  Two clues, I'm so generous.

I have a cramp in my leg. It been around for I'm guessing...three hours now? It's just worse now. Ugharoahg.

Oh and happy post Christmas shopping extravangza today! It was super awesome, especially some Champs store in I think Georgia that wanted nothing to do with me and a Foot Locker manager who was in the bathroom for 10+ minutes. Excellent times bbs!

Whatever, that's done. I actually get REAL hours next week, and that's probably only because I signed up for holiday hours. Nice.

I really loved Doctor Who yesterday. It was worth it (and I stayed relatively unspoiled!!!) Maui, loves it. (stupid thing I think is funny that no one else knows where it's from)

Presents: the same slippers my mom bought last year that I didn't like and returned for a new pair, cook book from my brother, gift cards for the movies, pants, Beedle the Bard, and AWESOME:: A copy of my grandpa's old joke collection bound in a nice book. The real deal, photocopies of jokes that my cousin found in two boxes under my grandpa's bed when we were cleaning it after he died. They're HILARIOUS!!! It also has two nice pictures of him. I love it. LOVE IT. My cousin and his wife put it together and it's my favorite thing I got this year.

Also, I did get back my white elephant gift. My cousin was sulking after the exchange because he wanted what I got (a 36 pack of AA batteries) and my uncle asked if I would trade, and I did....because I still don't know what I have that runs on AA batteries!!
It was lame though, there was a $10 limit, and my cousin and boyfriend spent $20 together on the collector edition of The Dark Knight, so obviously EVERYONE wanted that. Ugh. Batteries and The Dark Knight? There's no comparison!

Well, Peace out A-Town! I'm still not done knitting mom's present and her b-day is tomorrow. I'll post pics when I'm done.
Don't mind me, I'm just brewing up some grade A crack over here. I have no idea where this is going to lead, but it could be potentially mind blowing, or a waste of one or two afternoons, several hours, whatever. I have time.

I think every five minutes I stop and go "am I really outlining this? do I have the patience to do this? what if people like it and I never finish (like a NaNo!) and I become the next 'Pansy's Volcano' of sorts?" then I stop freaking out and go on with my stuff since chances that I do anything with this aren't that great, and nothing as smutty epic as Pansy's Volcano.

hahahhahahahaha!!! I can't believe I'm doing this! I'm insane!!

I also realized that I put a lot of useless posts behind a F-Lock. I'm going to post some public entries and see how that goes. I'll probably not notice a difference.
