The Last of the Timelords

I just finished watching alone (because my attempts to ask world_president over the past few days if we were going to watch it together/talk on AIM/phone during the episode failed) and I have to say:

WHAT THE FRICK WAS THAT?  I mean....Seriously?  That was it?  How did any of that work?  It's like RTD pulled Timelord powers out of his ass.  "ZOMG! IT'S THE POWER OF LOVE HOPE"

I mean, the episode was just so cracked.

- The Master Dancing (Scissor Sisters....Honestly?)
- Jack being the Face of Boe (seriously??!?)
- The whole thing
- No resolution of the President being assassinated.  They couldn't fix that?  Didn't they learn that at Timelord school? /sarcasm
- Martha leaving and professing her love of the Doctor
- Martha leaving the Doctor her phone and expecting him to come running back when she calls
- The Doctor causing the Titanic to sink? or something (end)

I like how all the hardcore "I don't like Martha because she's not!Rose" Doctor/Rose shippers assumed that Rose was going to come back and save the day.  HA!  Could you see Rose being all serious ass kicking commando?  Seriously?  And would she have any idea of what to do?  I didn't think so.

Oh, and was that Lucy at the end picking up the bit of the Master's sonic laser?  Because....I love Lucy and if she's going to be a baddie next series, that would be the awesome.  In fact, I would go so far as to say it was the MANY (Inside joke that no one knows/remembers, but I'm bringing it back.)

But with all that said, I'm still going to be hardcore waiting for Christmas.
